DOE Webinar May 25: Energy Conservation Modeling for Weatherization
May 24, 2011
The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Technical Assistance Program (TAP) for state and local officials will present a webinar Wednesday, May 25, from 1:00 to 2:15 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time to discuss ways energy experts determine the feasibility and estimate the potential energy savings of specific energy efficiency measures when weatherizing homes. Program administrators can use energy modeling and estimation techniques to determine which energy efficiency measures would be cost-effective and useful for a specific energy efficiency project or program.
This webinar will briefly describe available techniques that program administrators can use to model energy use, which can help them handle a range of complexities found in energy efficiency measures or programs. The presenter will also discuss which energy modeling techniques weatherization grantees should apply to analyze various energy efficiency measures.
